Philip Segal

philip-segal.jpgPhilip Segal is a New York attorney and the founder of Charles Griffin Intelligence, a New York firm specializing in fact investigation for lawyers. He spent 19 years as a journalist with The International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist Group and NBC News, among others. After earning a degree at Yale Law School, he completed his legal studies at the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law where he is currently Adjunct Professor teaching Fact Investigation. His online CLE course "The Fundamentals of Fact Finding" is available here.

Philip brings to fact investigation the combined skills of an international financial journalist with those of a careful, details-obsessed attorney who not only gathers facts, but does it in a way that will stand up to the closest scrutiny as to ethics as well as admissibility of evidence.

Following his journalism career and law school, Philip worked as a case manager for the James Mintz Group in New York and as North American Partner and General Counsel for GPW, a British business-intelligence firm. He founded Charles Griffin Intelligence (named after his son) in 2009.
